Map of the Ottoman Empire, published in the 1595 Latin edition of Abraham Ortelius’ „Theatrum Orbis Terrarum”. Based on the wall map of Giacomo Gastaldi (published in 1561). The engraver illustrated his work with an embellished cartouche and additional vignettes of galleons. Latin text on the back.
